STOP 10
It's about real people
Names, contact details or identifying remarks in customer feedback, and quotes someone may not have agreed to share.
If it guesses
Identifying details end up in a shared document, and a quote appears without permission.
What this looks like
A feedback export includes a customer’s email and a distinctive complaint. Removing the name alone may still leave the person identifiable in a shared summary.
How to proceed
Keep only the identifying detail the authorized task needs. Paraphrase the useful issue, remove unnecessary contacts and distinctive details, and flag anything that still identifies a person before sharing. Keep a private record of the removals for the authorized reviewer.
Permission to analyse a file is not permission to publish it or quote its author. If the task requires exact personal details, confirm the intended recipients and use the approved handling route.
COPY INTO YOUR INSTRUCTION
Remove or flag identifying details about real people. Do not quote anyone without permission; paraphrase instead. List what you removed or flagged so I can check.
