Start here / your own AI

Start with something
you want to make.

A decision for tomorrow. A skill you could teach. A weekend worth keeping. Bring one small result to ChatGPT, Claude, Codex or the AI you already use.

A place to begin

Tell it what you want.

Paste this into your usual AI and replace the brackets. Your own words work, too.

I want to make [a small result] for [a person or occasion]. I have [notes, files, or an idea]. It needs to [one thing that matters]. Ask me what you need to know, then help me make a first version. Suggest the simplest useful format. Use my material. Point out missing facts rather than inventing them.

Only share material you’re allowed to give that service. Copying here doesn’t send anything to an AI.

Keep the first version small.

  1. Name a finish line.

A one-page recommendation, a 30-minute lesson, a photo page. Something you can read, use or give to someone.

  2. Give it something to work with.

Paste a few notes or describe your idea. If you want it to work from files or photos, check that your app and account can read them.

  3. Look at it. Make it fit.

“The meeting is only five minutes.” “It might rain.” “This is a gift, not a trip report.” If the first version misses something that matters, ask for a revision. Keep the version you want.

Need an editable file? Ask for one. Downloads depend on your app and account; if it can’t make the file, ask for text you can put in your document or design app.

I know something worth sharing

A small workshop from a real skill.

Turn what you know into a session someone else can enjoy. The example starts with taking better phone photos.

Make it yours

“Help me teach a few friends one thing I’m good at. They’re beginners, and we have an hour.”

I want to make something personal

A weekend you can give someone.

Shape a few photos and small remembered details into a book for yourself or someone who was there.

Make it yours

“Help me turn these notes into a little memory book. Keep the details that sound like us.”
